Autodesk developed multiple products in different areas. One of the main products of the company was BIM360. It was a sophisticated construction management platform which helped with data collaboration between all the people involved in construction projects.
I joined a team of 4 backend developers who were working in the Submittals management area of the product. Submittals can be any type of data required primarily for the architect and engineer to verify that the correct products will be installed during the construction process.
The development was mainly done using Python and JS and I helped the team to solve the more complicated problems. Later on, Autodesk acquired another company and the part we were working on was integrated with the products of the acquired company.
